Chiaia

A basin supported by a base. Chiaia holds the aesthetic essence of an arcaic past, getting its origin from a stoup, as to transfer in a contemporary sense the sacred role of water and of the rituals connected to it. The monolith aspect built with technical and manufacturing skills, lives in the tension between the fullness of the whole, the thin profiles and the long slit that changes the semantic of the object, in the rigour of reduction.
