Gordon Guillaumier

(Malta, 1966)

He studied design in Malta, Switzerland and Italy and collaborated with companies and designers until 2002, when he set up his design and architecture consulting firm in Milan. Besides being a recognized and successful light designer, he investigated all possible product-related fields and interpreted furniture with visual and functional clarity in the light of its constant change of use. He can predict endless declinations in geometric shapes, grasping their essential features and changing the line of a curve in the details, the trait of a cut, the mark of stitching, and he domesticates diverse materials, which appear to be the primary source of his emotional inspirations.
